Your milk is freeze dried, moisture tested, sealed into our long term pouches, then posted back with a scoop and rehydration guide.

Could my milk get mixed up with someone else's?
No. Your milk is processed individually and completely separately in Pure Protect pouches, and it is labelled and tracked with your name from the moment it arrives until it is posted back. It is never pooled or blended with another family's milk.
How will my milk stay frozen in transit?
Your kit is a proper insulated cooler built to hold temperature for the whole journey. Pack it full and tight, post it express on the days we tell you, and your milk will still be cold and part frozen when it reaches us. That is all it needs to be. We check every kit on arrival and text you straight away.
Does freeze drying damage the nutrients?
Freeze drying works by removing water at low temperature under vacuum rather than heating the milk, which is why it is used across the food and pharmaceutical industries to preserve sensitive materials. We hold product temperature at or below 37°C, roughly the temperature your milk left your body at.
How long does the powder last?
Up to 3 years stored sealed in a cool, dry cupboard, and around 3 months once a pouch is opened. Every batch is moisture tested before it comes home, because that reading is what makes it shelf stable.
How long will it take to get my milk back?
Current turnaround is listed on the service page, and we keep you updated by text at every stage so you always know where your milk is.
Do I need to send all my milk at once?
Not at all. Plenty of mums start with part of their stash to see how they find it, then send the rest later. If you have more than 10 litres, get in touch and we will price it for you.
